LYVA Labs incubator provides early-stage businesses in deep tech, health & life science, and clean tech for health sectors with a tailored investment support programme, including £25K investment on day one, 1:1 mentoring, grant writing support, cohort learning sessions and an investor demo day to help secure follow-on investment.
Who is this for?
Liverpool City Region based start-ups and spin-outs.
Start-ups developing an innovative product or technology that is in scope for the incubator (as defined below).
Companies developing a product with a clear route to market that will lead to a commercial opportunity.
The programme is designed for projects that have developed an innovative concept or carried out experimental proof of concept (TRL 2-5).
The company must be incorporated, have a bank account, and be seeking to raise investment to join the incubator.

Health & Life Science
All sector applications excluding pharmaceuticals, drugs, alcohol, or consumer health.

Clean Tech for Health
Clean and green technology products and services that have a positive impact on health outcomes.

Deep Tech
Physical science, material science, data science, artificial intelligence, advanced engineering, and robotics.
What you receive on the Incubator

- Day one initial investment of £25,000 (via an advanced subscription agreement)
- A series of educational workshops including peer-to-peer learning
- 1:1 mentoring tailored to your needs
- Support to identify and apply for grant funding for your innovation
- Investment readiness for future equity investment, including business plan and pitch support
- Opportunity of further follow on investment
- Access to resources and skills through our talent programme
If the investment is approved through the application process, you will become part of our portfolio. You will receive support to set and track your development milestones, meet potential co-investors, receive help with ongoing grant applications, and business development support. We will connect you with mentors, potential NEDs, research and development partners.
