Incubator Programme
LYVA Labs incubator provides early-stage Liverpool City Region based businesses in deep tech, health & life science, and clean tech for health sectors with a tailored support programme, including up to £25K investment on day one, 1:1 commercial mentoring, grant writing support, cohort learning sessions and an investor demo day to help secure follow-on investment.



Health & Life Science
All sector applications excluding pharmaceuticals, drugs, alcohol, or consumer health.
Clean Tech for Health
Clean and green technology products and services that have a positive impact on health outcomes.
Deep Tech
Physical science, material science, data science, advanced engineering, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
LYVA Labs Deep-Tech criteria on Artificial Intelligence
- AI is a core operational engine of the product, not an auxiliary feature.
- Use proprietary, customer-owned or continually improving datasets that delivers a performance edge over generic models.
We actively exclude:
- Chat-first products without embedded workflow integration.
- Thin wrappers around third-party LLM APIs.
- Prompt-only automation without proprietary system logic.
Who is this for?

Liverpool City Region based start-ups and spin-outs.

Sectors in-scope: Health & Life Science, Clean Tech for Health, and Deep Tech.

Start-ups developing an innovative product or technology with a commercial opportunity at TRL 2-5 (experimental proof of concept or prototype)

The company must be incorporated, have a bank account, and be seeking to raise investment to join the incubator.
What's Included

Day one initial investment of up to £25K (via an advanced subscription agreement), becoming part of LYVA Labs investment portfolio

1:1 commercial support from LYVA Labs, tailored to your needs and development milestones.

A series of educational workshops including peer-to-peer learning on investor readiness, finance, funding, sales, marketing, IP, regulations, and people.

Connections to mentors, potential NEDs, R&D and industry partners.

Support to identify and apply for innovation grant funding.

Investment readiness for future equity investment, including business plan development and pitch bootcamps.

Demo Day providing the opportunity of follow-on investment from LYVA Labs and co-investors.

Access to resources and skills through our talent programme.
Programme Timeline
Applications open on the 1st October
Apply to join the programme from the 1st October - 29th October 2026. All it takes is completing a short application form that should take around around 10 minutes to complete.

Interviews with LYVA Labs
Successful applications are invited for an interview with the LYVA Labs team to help us understand more about your innovation and areas of support required.
Interviews will take place 4th-17th November

External Panel
Shortlisting up to 12 businesses who will pitch to an external panel consisting of industry experts and investors. The panel recommend to LYVA Labs who should receive investment and join the programme.

Investments Completed
Successful applicants will receive our Advanced Subscription Agreement and up to £25K investment from LYVA Labs for day one of the programme.

Incubator Programme
Cohort sessions will start in Mid-March, starting with a deep-dive into your business' market opportunity, value proposition, and business model.
Alongside intensive 1:1 advice and hands-on support from LYVA Labs a series of modules are delivered alongside experts on topics such as IP, finance, investor readiness, grant writing, brand, and sales.
March 2027 - Sept 2027
Demo Day and Graduation
Following a series of practice sessions to refine your pitch, the programme concludes with an investor Demo Day and graduation event to celebrate your achievements.
