LYVA Labs hosted its annual Demo Day 2025 at Hope Street Hotel, Liverpool, showcasing some of the most exciting early-stage businesses emerging from across the Liverpool City Region.
The event brought together investors, Liverpool City Region partners, and founders from LYVA Labs’ incubator programme and investment portfolio, highlighting the region’s growing innovation ecosystem and the progress being made by start-ups supported through LYVA Labs’ investment and business growth initiatives.
Across nine live pitches, founders from our latest incubator cohort, alumni from previous incubator programmes, and companies within LYVA Labs’ investment portfolio took to the stage. Each shared how their innovations are shaping the future of sectors including health and life sciences and deep tech.
The companies pitching were: MedCo, Plasma Fresh, Haptiv8, Respiosa, Ocuwell, Refold Therapeutics, Gutsee Health, Universal Atmosphere Processing, and Sum Vivas.
The outstanding line-up demonstrated the breadth of innovation being developed across the region, and how companies of different stages are progressing through LYVA Labs’ support, from early idea development to investment readiness and market traction.
Attendees also had the opportunity to connect during networking sessions with investors, funders, and ecosystem partners, exploring collaboration, funding, and commercial opportunities to help accelerate these ventures further.
Delivered with support from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority through the Innovation Zone programme, LYVA Labs’ programmes provide early-stage businesses with access to funding, expert-led workshops, and tailored mentoring.
Alongside this, LYVA Labs recently launched the Clean Tech for Health Fund, unveiled last week at its launch event. The fund offers pre-seed investment of up to £100K for start-ups developing innovations that deliver both environmental sustainability and health benefits, broadening the types of early-stage ventures LYVA Labs can help to progress.
Demo Day marks an important milestone for founders across our programmes and portfolio, giving them the platform to showcase their progress and pitch to potential investors.
As LYVA Labs continues to invest in and support ambitious entrepreneurs, Demo Day 2025 highlights the momentum building across the region’s innovation community. With the launch of the Clean Tech for Health Fund and continued support for founders across multiple stages, LYVA Labs remains committed to driving innovation-led growth across the Liverpool City Region.
Applications for the next LYVA Labs Incubator Programme will open in January 2026, offering early-stage founders a pathway to funding, personalised support, and investor readiness.
