The round also includes a highly competitive Innovate UK grant. [Plasma Fresh](https://plasma-fresh.com/) is revolutionising food safety with its cold plasma technology—an in-line, retrofittable system that eliminates pathogens from food and equipment without the use of water or chemicals. The technology not only enhances hygiene and safety, but also dramatically reduces energy use and downtime—offering food manufacturers a sustainable, next-generation alternative to conventional sterilisation methods.
