LYVA Labs hosted its latest Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Network event: Innovation in Advanced Materials 2D - 3D, at the Partnership for Learning Charity. Showcasing innovation in advanced materials in the region, the event explored how businesses in the advanced material sector are innovating with the latest dynamic processes in advanced manufacturing, and integrating advanced materials into their cutting-edge manufacturing processes.

The event, which was held in Knowsley, took the network and its learnings to the community. It brought together leading industry experts, thought leaders, and researchers with the latest data on the state of advanced materials in the North and our region.

The event explored what innovation support is available to advanced manufacturing organisations, through regional expertise and access to innovative facilities and networks like CPI, a group of whom shared their knowledge and successes in the industry.

Speakers included: Prof Kate Black FREng - University of Liverpool, CEO of Atomik AM; Fiona Tuck and Mary Dolphin of Metro Dynamics; Craig Fairgrieve from CPI; Rob Rule, Founder of Entropix Ltd; Dr Chris Berg CEng, MInstMC CEng, of A2O Technology Group; Chris Edwards from Light Coatings Ltd; and Johnny M., StrucLock Limited’s Founder.
