LYVA Labs launches ADAPT Programme to turn uncertainty into growth
LYVA Labs has launched ADAPT an innovation support programme designed to help ambitious Liverpool City Region businesses turn uncertainty into an actionable innovation plan.
The programme will provide established businesses with expert guidance, structured support and access to £15k feasibility grants to explore and validate new products, services and business opportunities.
As businesses navigate rising costs, rapid advances in artificial intelligence and ongoing supply chain disruption, the programme will help leaders identify future opportunities and build robust innovation plans that strengthen resilience, productivity and competitiveness. Participants will receive expert support to refine and shape their ideas from LYVA Labs’ network of external partners.
"ADAPT is your call to ambition," said Charlotte Corke, Innovation Partner from LYVA Labs. "The programme is designed for business leaders who recognise that standing still is no longer an option. We want to help companies develop the clarity, confidence and practical roadmap needed to shape what comes next."

Driving Scale Up Growth Across Liverpool City Region
The programme comes at a time when innovation and growth remain critical priorities for the regional economy.
According to the ScaleUp Institute, while scaleups represent just 0.5% of UK SMEs, they generate 58% of total UK SME turnover. The Institute also reports that 80% of UK scaleups have introduced a new product or service within the last three years, and 90% expect to grow.
However, Liverpool City Region's scaleup density remains around 15% below the UK average, highlighting the opportunity to support more businesses in developing innovative products and services that can accelerate growth.
ADAPT aims to address this challenge by helping established businesses take practical first steps towards innovation, supported by expert guidance and targeted funding.

Supporting the Region's Growth Ambitions
ADAPT is aimed at leaders of established businesses across the Liverpool City Region with a turnover of £500K or more and a minimum of three employees. The programme is open to organisations from all sectors that are committed to innovation and future growth.
Participating businesses must be able to commit two senior team members, including a member of the C-suite or leadership team, to a two-day bootcamp taking place on 21st and 22nd October 2026.
The programme has been designed to help organisations move from early ideas and into structured development activity, supported by external experts and grant funding.
